Well blended and easy to follow,

This review is from: Legal And Scientific Aspects Of Continental Shelf Limits (Center for Oceans Law and Policy) (No. 8) (Hardcover)
I am in a geography master's program reading this book for a book review assignment. I have no background in laws regarding the sea, but this book is easy to follow so far. It has a nice blend of science and policy. I like that this book is written with a somewhat personal perspective and is not nearly as dull as it could be. Imagine being able to mouth-off about the Continental Shelf Limits at a party? Maybe not. There is also a chapter devoted to give a clear background of the continental shelf with definitions to ensure understanding, as well as a cd in the back of the book which contains the charts/PPT slides. To not have any business at all reading this book otherwise, it is fun leanring about this little known or spoken topic that has yet to be finalized by all countries. Oh, and I have looked high and low for the most recent books on the topic and it is the only one put out in 2004. As far as I know anyway.
