Bought for my niece's 11th birthday. She's having a ball, mixing her own perfumes, and reproducing the scents used by famous folks in history. Would highly recommend this.

I was thrilled when I got this package for Christmas. I instantly began mixing combinations. I suppose to some people the scents would have been good to some stronge-nostriled people, but not to me. They were too strong and most of them smelled the same. I really wouldn't use that stuff on my body. I wrinkled my nose every time I opened the box and began regretting that I had put this on my wish list. Oh well...I guess you learn from your mistakes. But you, dear reader, have a chance. Don't throw away your money for something you will dislike.

This is the third Scientific Explorer's kit I get, and once again I love what you can do with this kit, but feel that it's too expensive for what you actually get material wise. This kit gives you 5 fragrance vials, 5 small empty vials and 5 pipettes. All you do is mix the scents and come up with ones you like. If you have scents from other kits at home, you can do the same without having to spend the money on this kit. That said, mixing scents is fun and it's nice to wear something you created.
