Product Description

Blast into a new world of rocket fun. This remarkable rocket bubbles and fizzes, then streaks high into the sky with the amazing force of vinegar propulsion. At the apogee of its flight, the rocket noses over and the delta wings go to work, creating an aerodynamic lift and then carrying the Rocket Glider to a gentle landing. Watch this rocket fly up to 100 feet in the air and glide up to 200 feet. Launch it again and again for endless hours of fun. All you have to do is supply the vinegar and baking soda. Rocket measures approximately 21 inches long.

This kit is basically a plastic bottle and adhesive foil -- it took more than an hour to assemble and we managed to shoot it off twice before it broke. It never came close to going 100 feet. Build your own or buy a real rocket kit from Apogee or Estes.

This took a long time to put together and was pretty complicated. Most children will need their parents help. You need to use vinegar with the rocket which, of course, is very smelly as well as baking soda. The biggest problem with the rocket was it did go up but it didn't glide thru the air it just came crashing down and the wings kept breaking off. We've flown it that one day and it sits in the corner of the garage probably never to be used again.
