This kit is fun and educational, but they have included very small amounts of some of the supplies needed. You have to measure super precisely and you will only have for 1 experiment. Considering this is a kids kit it should have some extra supplies.

Kit is small to say the least. A lot of added material you have to buy on your own. Messy too. More like a single use activity.

My 7 year old received this science kit for his birthday. It only has three experiments and we completed them all in less than 15 minutes. He was excited about the glowing chemicals but obviously, it was short lived. This item is not worth $[...]. There are not enough materials to repeat any of the experiments.

Bought for Christmas as a gift. We had a lot of fun doing the activities together. I tend to go much further in the science and we looked at the components under a microscope to discuss why each thing worked. Great family educational fun.

The items in this kit really worked and were a lot of fun to put together and watch the progressions. My 8 yr old loved the fake snow and the rainbow crystals that triple in size. When throwing these away, be sure not to pour them down your sink for it will clog the pipes.

My husband, 7 year old and 2 year old all gathered in a dark bedroom after making these. We had so much fun! The only problem was trying to get the bulb to work from static. We couldn't build enough static for some reason. But I really think it is just because we normally don't get static in our home. I would definitely recommend this. We used it for a science class for home school.

The Scientific Explorer's Glow in the Dark Fun Lab Science Kit was a birthday gift for my 7 year old granddaughter. She loves anything to do with color and Science.
