I've read this book many times and each time I get more from it. I found that it answered many questions I've had for a long time and gave me insight into myself as a spiritual being. I've had continual realizations that have, without question, changed my life for the better.

I have read and reread 8-8008 and will read it again and again. There is so much basic, fundamental truth here that getting just a piece of it produces amazing realizations. It has definitely changed my life for the better.

L Ron Hubbard found what I have been looking for and at levels I can really appreciate.

The phsyical universe contains many riddles. The answers lie herein.

If one has questions regarding: What is life? Who am I? Where am I going? Why is all this happening?

Then it is imperative that you read this book.

Even as a youngster I saw far to many things around me that didn't make sense. This book allowed me to see and understand what I had been running into. As a kid and now adult, there is nothing like understanding this sometimes crazy thing called life

For the small minded or the ones very sure they are nothing but a body and always will be a body this book is not for you. They will have trouble with this book. For the ones who are looking for great spiritual truths- this is the book to buy! Many philosophers have attempted to explain what Hubbard communicates here but none have taken the scientific approach regarding the spirit and its capabilities as he has. If I was stranded on an island and could take 5 books this would be one of them

I have read this book three times and each time I am
surprised at how many more realizations I have because
I understand it better. It is not a book for one who
looks at life blindly and is adamant they see.
It is not for those who believe they know it all
already. It is for he who wants a fresh new look at
life in a grand way. What is our true spiritual nature
and how can we operate in our lives from a causative
viewpoint. I love this book. I'm sure I will read it
three more times at least. I highly recommend it.

Hubbard discovered the true abilities of man back in 1952 when this book was written, and it's an awesome amount of ability. Guaranteed to open your eyes to abilities you never thought possible. Includes techniques to get there, too! This book is for deep-thinkers who are ready to explore the truth of man and this universe, along with the specific mechanisms of this universe, such as electronics, space, time and more. After you've read the book, you'll want to listen to the extensive lecture series (available on cassette) that goes along with the data in this book

This book was really meaty and not for the faint
of heart. But it gave me some really interesting
viewpoints about myself and others and life in
general. I would recommend it to anyone who is
searching for answers to "Who am I?" or "What is
Life?"

The disparate opinions amongst the reviewers who have posted notices come about, I think, because L.Ron Hubbard is not easy to read. His work is certainly not part of the 'throw-away' culture of polystyrene cups and muzak. It is well worth a serious look. This book is no exception. It is not a paperback to read and then dispose of. It is a book to savour. There are more ideas in one paragraph than many other authors have in their whole lives.
