This bible is beautifully bound and very attractive. I like the NIV version as it helps me to get the most out of the bible in an easier to understand intuitive manor. The indexing helps to locate the books of the bible quicker. I truly like this bible.

The Scofield III is an awesome Bible. Now in it's centennial year from Dr. Scofield's first publication of his personal Bible research, the graphic layout is an incredible enhancement. If you are a serious Bible student, this is a must have in your library. I have the KJV, ESV and this NIV version. The notes and layout are the same. If you like the readability of the NIV than this is a Bible for you. I thought I got mine at a steal at $20 delivered. I just bought 4 more at this price of $10.04. The binding is excellent and the book stays open anywhere you turn to from Genesis to Revelation. Oxford's Duradera binding is strong and will endure a lifetime. The best part is that the pages will not get damaged in your car or briefcase because of the zipper that opens and closes flawlessly. Stock up and give these away to friends and loved ones. I purchased this Bible for a young convert who was struggling with the KJV. The Young man instantly caught on with the study helps and notes, He is now a faithful reader.
I am not an NIV fan myself, but in a case such as this I would not hesitate to recommend this Bible again.
