iRobot batteries are terrible, I dissected one and found very low quality cells. After doing that I was certainly not going to buy any more batteries from iRobot! So after doing some research I found that this company makes the highest rated NIMH battery for iRobot's Scooba. So far, my robot runs about TWICE as long as it ever did with the original battery.

This battery looks exactly like the original for my scooba 5800 and snapped into place with a solid click. It already had some charge, so I ran a full tank of solution and 10 minutes of another before it was depleted.

I'm sure it will do much longer with a full charge, maybe I should have charged it before using but it did fine.

It is supposed to be stronger than the original, which ran long enough but failed after I quit using it for a year.

When I first charged this battery it only worked for less then 5 minutes... However, after letting it discharge and re-charge it has worked over and over again! I have to admit my luck with Amazon products lately has really scared me so this was a desperation buy; I am so happy it worked!
