Quite a challenging little game,

While this game is not the best game ever made, it is certainly good for some entertainment when you are feeling bored. I love Scooby-Doo and the gang, so I thought this game would be a lot of fun. It did not let me down. I have to say that this game will not be good for smaller children. It is not scary or gory, it is simply kind of tough. It is definitely harder to master than some games I've played that were meant for adult players. Actually, this game kind of reminded me of the old Super Mario Brothers games that used to come out on Super Nintendo. It is fun though. I recommend it for players over the age of ten. A-

I am 8 years old and I love this game! It was really fun, until I got to the end. Then I had trouble beating the Phantom virus, but other than that it was a fun game. I love the movie too!

Huge improvement over Classic Creep Capers,

You always fear a licensed console game these days. For an example, rent Classic Creep Capers. If you were over 5 years old, you probably didn't enjoy it all that much. So I was a bit fearful when renting this one. Much to my surprise, it was very enjoyable. There are obvious technical problems to it. There is marked slowdown throughout when Shaggy or Scooby is running. The enemies do get to be redundant. It actually reminds me of a lower quality Crash Bandicoot game. Still, as far as licensed platformers go, it is fun. For Scooby fans out there, it's well worth checking out and probably even worth shelling out the 30 clams for. There is enough to it to have some decent replay value. If it is for somebody 8-10 years old, I'd bet they love it.

Scooby Doo Doo,

This game should carry a definite warning, "Will cause everyone in your family to curse." No, not some malediction hurled by the Witch's Ghost, but real profanity in response to the unresponsive character control and pointlessly precise platform jumping. Add to that strictly linear level design, poor graphics, and a complete lack of skill development (jumping and pie throwing is about it) and you've got a real dog on your hands! I imagine this game was designed initially for the Game Boy and then ported over because nothing about it appears to have been tailored to work with the capabilities of the Play Station. After spending several hours trying to get through just the second level, I and my family vowed we would never place this disk in our console again for the sake of our relationship. Even my 4-year-old boy found this game to be less exciting than watching our chihuahua have an asthma attack, and this is the same boy that has forced us to watch the Scooby movie with the Three Stooges in it at least six times. Bad dog! No, no!

Cute idea that didn't necessarily pan out,

"Scoody Doo and the Cyber Chase" has a cute premise but the limitations of the game cannot be overlooked. The game is geared for kids and the controls are simple to pick up on and the goals are clearly set. Scooby and the whole gang are present and accounted for which does give the game appeal however the graphics are so limited that gameplay is actually more difficult and frustrating just because of the camera angle and the pixel breakup. You basically wander around doing the exact same thing over and over. Pick up scooby snacks, pies and hamburgers while staying on a straight and narrow (and unwavering path)until you encounter the "boss" of each level. You can't even explore areas off the beaten path. Velma, Daphne and Freddy will be happy to provide endless tips so you can accomplish your goals and can actually become annoying (luckily you can ignore them most of the time). It got three stars from me only because it's Scooby and because its a nice change of pace for a kids game with little violence, no blood and simplicity that will keep your kids occupied for at least a litttle while. They should have put more time and effort into this game because it could have been good. Worth a rental, not worth buying.

No Way!!!!,

I'm not saying this game was terrible it was just really hard. The first two levels in Japan are easy but when you get to battleing the boss you can't beat him. I tried, my dad tried, and my younger brother(7) tried. None of us could beat him. My brother thought the game was fun but he would get really mad when he couldn't beat that level. He had fun with the other 2 levels though. But he couldn't do anything else but play those 2 levels over and over again. He got bored fast and wanted a new game to play. So we traded it in. Trust me if a little kid wants this game and doesn't have a lot of experience with games don't buy it!!!! It's a waste of your [$$].

I liked the first 2 levels on each Country but the third level that you need to beat to go to the next country was very hard and I could not do it. I am still trying and my fingers hurt, my son who plays playstation II all the time had a hard time so my little ones (who this was for) wont even try.....

scooby doo is challenging.,

Scooby is great! The only disadvantage is you can only get 2 characters(which isn't enought to take away a star). The levels are great and challenging. The first level is the easiest by far just to get you started. All the other levels are tough. If the other levels weren't so hard, the game wouldn't be fun. The bosses are cool and are really fun to battle. I like this game and I think you will too.

Scooby-Doo Review,

I only gave this game four stars because it is very hard. I am fairly good at playstation, but I cannot get past the second world in this one game. I find the difficulty on level 2 in this game to be as hard as the difficulty on level 10 in some other games. However, I love Scooby-Doo and his friends. This game is hard to master, but still a lot of fun to play. I find that I still like to sit down for an hour and try to beat the levels even though I can't get past the second world. I would recommend this game to other Scooby-Doo fans.
