Editorial Reviews

Amazon.com
As in Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders, this animated feature takes the finest ingredients from the Saturday morning TV series--the original Scooby gang (minus Scrappy-Doo) and their groovy exclamations ("Zoinks, jinkies!")--and updates the proceedings with a modern recipe. In this adventure, the gang's past exploits are immortalized in a video game. Due to an evil computer virus, however, they get sucked into that very game! It consists of several levels, including a Roman Colosseum (shades of Gladiator) and a prehistoric jungle (shades of Jurassic Park). To move from one level to the next, the gang has to find the box of Scooby Snack. With the irrepressible, ever-hungry Shaggy and Scooby--and their cybercounterparts--part of this intrepid crew, how can they fail to find the snacks, return to reality, and, most importantly, bring the creator of the virus to justice? (Ages 3 to 12) --Kathleen C. Fennessy

5.0 out of 5 stars Scooby Doo, You're the Best!, October 30, 2001
By A Customer
Great flick!!! The grandsons adore this movie; watched it four times in one day and laughed and giggled and cheered. Since our boys are into computer games, the theme of the video was perfect and they easily understood the "levels." They especially liked Daphne's display of martial arts - Go, Daphne! The game concept of the video provided an opportunity for a variety of situations which maintained the interest level. Having the ever popular Scooby Snacks in the "game" and seeing some of the monsters of the past pursue the gang provided a good bridge between the past adventures and the present environment. This video was a good investment; hope to see more of this quality.
