5.0 out of 5 stars My 2 1/2 loves this tape.
My 2 1/2 year old son loves this tape. The music is less spooky than the other tapes, it's upbeat and there is a Johnny Bravo cartoon at the end.

3.0 out of 5 stars IT HAS GROWN ON ME
I used to hate this one but I kept watching it and watching it and watching and now I like it a lot but it is not classic Scooby Doo however it shows some clips from old episodes which is a bit of a plus.

There are still some funny stuff in this video but for older t.v. fans. Lots of seventies t.v. spin offs that make the movie better than it looks.

Overall this is...

Overall this is not bad could have been better could have been worse. I loved the Groove!!! Mildly recommended.

1.0 out of 5 stars Please skip this one, you'll thank me, December 12, 2009
This review is from: Scooby-Doo Goes Hollywood (DVD)
In order to watch this, one must be strapped to a chair with eyes taped open. It's that bad. I'm a fan of Scooby, but this was easily the worst of the bunch I've seen. The story is plodding, the jokes aren't funny, I spent most of the time looking at the clock waiting for it to be over, and the nicest thing I can say about it is that it ended. It's essentially all about how Scooby doesn't fit well in any other Hollywood role but that of crime-fighter with the gang. If you are looking for a good Scooby movie to enjoy, avoid this one and The Reluctant Werewolf. Try Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island; it's a bit scarier than the average Scooby, but the kids love it and you won't need to be duct taped to your recliner to watch it.

Can Scooby Doo get sick and tired of his Saturday morning show and take a job in Hollywood as a tv and movie star? According to Scooby Doo Goes Hollywood, yes he can and does. It starts with Shaggy (Casey Kasem) and Scooby Doo (Don Messick) are filming a new Scooby Doo epoisde. So Shaggy talks Scooby into going from a cowdly dog to serious star and do westerns and even have his won trailer. Shaggy and Scooby go to a network exective named C.J to not only get Scooby his own Tv show and even star in movies. They show him a film called How Scooby Won the West starting, prouced, written and directed by Scooby. C.J doesn't take them seriously and finds it a joke. To prove they are serious they both leave the show and start filming more films and showing them to C.J enough to make him decide that Scooby Doo should go back to his show. The films shown to C.J include Scooby Days and Scooby & Cherie.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not the best ever, August 3, 2011
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Scooby-Doo Goes Hollywood (DVD)
I am a HUGE scooby doo fan. So I went out and bought this. Here's my review. PROS: some cheerful music montages, good voice acting, and nice bonus features. CONS: no monsters, terrible storyline, I hardly know half the guest stars, ad it's sad that scooby almost decided to leave the gang:(

1.0 out of 5 stars Memory resident virus!, May 24, 2011
Don't put this disc into a computer. You have a chance that it will not come back on. The movie it self is not very good for a scooby doo movie.

Good Scooby movie. 6 yr old loves it. Scooby fights for his right to be recognized as star in Hollywood only to find out everybody already thinks he is a star.

5.0 out of 5 stars Watching Scooby for thirty years... still going strong!!!, December 2, 2010

What's not to like about Scooby, it's funny, takes you to different places and solve mysteries - you cannot say that about other cartoons today.

1.0 out of 5 stars My 5 year old daughter did not like this one - not normal Scooby, August 4, 2010
This review is from: Scooby-Doo Goes Hollywood (DVD)
My daughter loves Scooby Doo normally. She really did not like the little skits of this Scooby Doo. There is no mystery to solve - just a bunch of little commercial-like skits. Personally, I don't think it is horrible, but I am creating this review on behalf of a my daughter. She really loves the normal Scooby Doo. You can see from the other reviews here that other people think these are great; just beware that it is not normal Scooby.
