Others have reviewed the Spooky Games episode/short so I'll just give you some info on the Laff-A-Lympics episodes.

Here are the ones you get with this title:

Spain and the Himalayas
India and Israel
Africa and San Francisco
The Grand Canyon and Ireland
France and Australia ***
Egypt and Sherwood Forest ***
Hawaii and Norway
North Pole and Tahiti
Arizona and Holland
Quebec and Baghdad
The Swiss Alps and Tokyo Japan @@@
The Sahara Desert and Scotland @@@

What is important to know for collectors is that the 2 I marked with *** are included in Vol. 1 and the 2 with @@@ are also on Vol. 2. Therefore, if you have this title each volume will only give you 2 episodes each that are not included here.

Just for completists, as of this review, there are still 8 episodes that have not been released:

Russia and the Caribbean
New York and Turkey
South America and Transylvania
French Riviera and New Zealand
New Orleans and Atlantis
Morocco and Washington, D.C.
Canada and Warsaw, Poland
Siam and the Moon

Warner Bros. is on a mission to release every piece of Scooby-Doo film it owns. They put out a new animated full-length movie every six months to a year now. The time is here for "Scooby-Doo! Laff-A-Lympics: Spooky Games" to arrive for classic cartoon fans of the crime-solving canine. Not only do Mystery, Inc. enthusiasts get 12 original episodes of the series, but there's a brand new one entitled "Spooky Games" included.

This collection has the Scooby Doobies in competition with the Yogi Yahooeys and the Really Rottens in international races and events that take place in France, Australia, Hawaii, Norway, Japan, and many other exotic locations. Star-studded contests pit everyone from Captain Caveman, Fred Flintstone, Jabberjaw, and Huckleberry Hound to Dread Baron, Mumbly, and Mrs. Creepley against each other.

"Spooky Games" only features the Scooby Gang. They find themselves investigating a 1,000 year old statue which came to life. It's intent on ruining the World Invitational Games where Shaggy is a contestant in a race.

The classic episodes from the late 1970s will bring back memories for parents watching them with their kids. They'll remember watching this after school every day. It's Hanna-Barbera fun at its best. How can you go wrong with so many beloved characters in one show?

"Spooky Games" resembles "What's New, Scooby-Doo!" more than the newer "Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated." All the action doesn't take place in Crystal Cove. This puts the gang back on the road solving mysteries. It fits in better with the full-length animated films.

"Scooby-Doo! Laff-A-Lympics: Spooky Games" will please old and new fans of the mystery solving gang. It features globe-trotting adventures that involve several of the greatest cartoon characters of the 1960s and 1970s. Add a brand new episode to the mix and you have hilarious entertainment for the whole family.

I bought this because i like scooby doo cartoons & laff-a-lympics as well. I bought the first & the second volumes so i wanted to see them. If you get this be warned that it does show a couple of duplicates of cartoons from volumes one & two.

So the new Spooky Games is a nice modern homage to the old Laff-A-Lympics even if it's just Scooby Doo characters.

But the collection is bought to have all of Season 1 of Laff-A-Lympics. So I gotta tell you it's sneaky what they did. There are 4 missing episodes in season 1 not in this set:

"Alcapulco and England" & ""Florida and China" are only available in volume 1 of Scooby's All-Star Laff-A-Lympics. These are episodes 2 & 3 respectively on the timeline.

"Athens, Greece, and the Ozarks" & "Italy and Kitty Hawk, North Carolina" are only available in volume 2 of Scooby's All-Star Laff-A-Lympics. These are episodes 6 & 7 respectively on the timeline.

Both volumes 1 & 2 contain 2 episodes already in this collection. Why this was made this way I'm not sure.

Finally the episodes in the collection are not in the right order at all. Check Wikipedia for the proper episode list.

My kids (3 & 6 yrs. old) love anything to do with Scooby doo. Not as scary as some of their shows.
