We Love Scooby Games,

I bought this game for my 5 1/2 yr. old daughter and I to play together. We had a lot of fun playing and will try to play the game on the other 2 harder levels. We have all the other Scooby Doo PC games and can't wait for the new one to come out.

A decent game that runs a bit slowly on Windows XP,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Scooby Doo Phantom of the Knight (CD-ROM)
My kids (6 and 5) like this game quite a bit, particularly since they are avid Scooby-Doo fans. The amount of game territory one must traverse is limited (which is good for its target audience) and the puzzles are simple enough that a fairly intelligent five- or six-year-old child should be able to solve most of them, but the load time on Windows XP is overlong. For example, when a new suspect is introduced or a new cutscene runs, the computer will slow down significantly because it has to access the CD, which must be IN to play the game. If it's compatible with Vista or Windows 7, then maybe it's quicker, but occasional game slowness tarnished the experience.

Just like a Scooby Doo Show,
By
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Scooby Doo Phantom of the Knight (CD-ROM)
Just as Scooby will do things for Scooby snacks on a show you need to collect Scooby Snacks, run from monsters, solve mini puzzles and figure out who the bad guy is in these games.
These are fun games that are not too difficult to play. The person who is the bad man is different every time so although the clues are still in the same places, the mini games play the same the final answer is different. A sophisticated 5 year old can play this game and it is probably good up to about age 9 at the oldest end of the spectrum. Worth the money. Enjoy.
