I just purchased this book for my Scooby-lovin' first grade daughter. The story and illustrations are cute - not scary. Perfect for a 5 or 6 year-old. The age states K-grade 2, however, an average K - grade 1 child will not be able to read this without help. The sentences are short, but many of the words are on a 2nd grade level. This book has such a cute ending - especially if your little one loves dogs!

As usual your service was prompt, your prices great. My grandson is on a Scooby Doo kick and I thought he'd like a book since he loves books. He was thrilled to get it. It's well written and illustrated beautifully. We've read this book many times and my grandson enjoys it.

I was buying for my nephew who is learning to read more and more. He is loves Scooby Doo. He jumped up and down when he unwraped them. I read the books myself first. I loved them. My sister said he is already starting to recite some of the words back before she says them. Great gift. I would recommend to anyone. These are the two I got. This is another Scooby Doo with pictures substituting for some words. It is a very good one which we really like! My daughter only has eyes for Scooby and his videos, books, etc. I like this one a lot as well!
