4.0 out of 5 stars One Of The Best Soundtracks Of 2002
This soundtrack has many different styles of music and is the rare breed of cd that you can put into your player and listen to and enjoy the whole thing. I LOVE this cd which features alot of really good music from a film that is just as great. Here's a breakdown of the cd:

2.0 out of 5 stars Man with the Hex
The "You remind me of the man..." lines that are in the song "Man with the Hex" were also used by David Bowie, but are from the Cary Grant & Rosalind Russell movie, "His Girl Friday."

4.0 out of 5 stars One Of The Best Soundtracks Of 2002, July 14, 2002
This review is from: Scooby-Doo (Audio CD)
This soundtrack has many different styles of music and is the rare breed of cd that you can put into your player and listen to and enjoy the whole thing. I LOVE this cd which features alot of really good music from a film that is just as great. Here's a breakdown of the cd:

1. Shaggy, Where Are You? - Shaggy: Exactly what you've come to expect from Shaggy, this song has a great regge vibe with a little Scooby Doo theme music mixed in. Great song! - 4 stars

2. Land Of A Million Drums - Outkast: This is my favorite song on the cd and when it plays in the movie, it makes you wanna dance and gets you in the mood for action. - 5 stars

3. Lil' Romeo's B House - Lil' Romeo: Sampling the song Brick House, this song is fun, but it's one that I could take or leave. Most likely would appeal more to kids. - 3 stars

4. Thinking About You - Solange: Solange is an up and comer who's big sister is Beyonce Knowles from superstar group Destiny's Child and you can tell. Sounding just like a clone of her big sis, this song can be nice or annoying depending on your mood. All in all, it's rather tasteless. - 3 stars

5. Words To Me - Sugar Ray: I LOVE this song. It's one of those songs that's perfect for summer that makes you wanna get up and go do something in the sun and the water. It's one of those songs when in the winter you hear it, it reminds you of how much fun you had on those summer days. Also available on Sugar Ray's latest cd, I recommend buying it and this soundtrack. - 5 stars

6. Freaks Come Out At Night - Uncle Kracker feat. Busta Rhymes: This is the kind of song you'd expect on the soundtrack to a Scooby Doo movie. Hip Hop driven with a spooky theme, it'll get you up and dancing. Fun song! -4 stars

7. Bump In The Night - Allstars: Think Michael Jackson's Thriller meets Aqua's Barbie Girl and that's what you get from this British pop group who's song is better than most will give it credit for. Too bad Allstars cd isn't available in the U.S. This song will most likely be enjoyed by the kids and those who are fans of UK pop. - 4 stars

8. Whenever You Feel Like It - Kylie Minogue: Oddly placed on this soundtrack, this song doesn't even appear in the movie and it has nothing to do with Scooby Doo. However, this song is very addictive and very melodic and I love it. Reminds me alot of her hit Can't Get You Outta My Head. - 4 stars

9. It's A Mystery - Little T feat. One Track Mike: Sweet rap song about a guy who has a crush on the girl and thinks its a mystery that she likes him back. Plays in the movie when Shaggy falls for someone that maybe he shouldn't. Cute song. - 3 stars

10. Scooby Doo - Baha Men: A rather unforgettable song placed near the end of the cd when the film begins to mellow out. - 1 star

11. Man With The Hex - The Atomic Fireballs: I love, love, love this song which is insanity at it's best! For those who fell asleep due to the previous two tracks on the album, this will surely get you up and on your feet. I've loved this song for years now and it fits Scooby Doo perfectly. - 5 stars

12. Grow Up - Simple Plan: Sounds like Blink 182 and I love it. A great song to rock to. - 4 stars

13. Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? - MxPx: Great punk rock version of the Scooby Doo theme song. Even those who are anti punk will love this song which will put a smile on your face and make you slam your head. Awesome song! - 5 stars

14. Mystery Inc. - David Newman: A piece of the score from the film. Kind of a let down and a boring and poor way to end this upbeat cd. I always skip it. They should have ended it with MxPx. Someone will probably appreciate it. - 2 stars

4.0 out of 5 stars An Above Average Soundtrack, June 29, 2002

This review is from: Scooby-Doo (Audio CD)
There are two types of movie sountracks. There's some that are excellent that have a great compilation of good songs. Then there's ones with music that is just terrible. Luckily, the Scooby Doo soundtrack is in the first category. And it's better than the movie, A LOT better. Of course, this soundtrack isn't all good. But it's outweighed by the good stuff. OutKast's song is definently a good one. I'm not a big fan of rap, I like rock mostly, but I like OutKast and this is a really cool song. The MxPx version of the Scooby Doo theme is awesome. I never realized how well that song could be made into a punk song. Another punk band on this CD is Simple Plan. If you like punk at all, you'll like Simple Plan's song. "Grow Up" is a cool song. You might have heard it before in a Six Flags advertisement. This is definently a cool song and if you like "Grow Up" then I reccomend you pick up Simple Plan's CD "No Pads, No Helmets... Just Balls". MxPx and OutKast CDs are also very good.

4.0 out of 5 stars Buy it just for the Kylie Minogue song!, June 11, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Scooby-Doo (Audio CD)
Kylie Minogue's "Whenever You Feel Like It", is a great dance tune! This song was supposed to be included on her album "Fever" but was taken off after she received "Come Into My World" from Kathy Dennis (writer/producer of "Can't Get You Out Of My Head") to record. If you want yet another song that didn't make it on the "Fever" CD but this disc.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Rock/Hip Hop Album!, June 18, 2011
This review is from: Scooby-Doo (Audio CD)
I was a big fan of this movie when it came out back in 2002. I bought the soundtrack right after. I misplaced it after moving, so I bought it over again from Amazon. I rediscovered my enjoyment for this CD when I got it again. It's got a good mix of rock and clean hip-hop (Worst it gets is a few Scooby sound clips instead of a few innappropriate words on the Outcast song). My favorite tracks are the ones by Sugar Ray, Allstars, Baha Men, and MXPX. I'm also thrilled about David Newman's score track (I love his movie scores!). A very good soundtrack, indeed. :)

4.0 out of 5 stars dissapointed, May 1, 2009
This review is from: Scooby-Doo (Audio CD)
I was dissapointed because the cd didn't have the song that I was looking for. The song that plays right after the group decides to split apart, u know when they all said " I quit". Otherwise, I like the cd. And especially, love the movie. We watch it all the time with my sons.
