Calibrated for 0.223, the ACOG (Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight) TA01 4x32 fully illuminated scope with a red crosshair aiming reticle provides lightning fast target acquisition and superb optical clarity without the use of batteries in any light conditions. Delivering pinpoint accuracy out to 800 meters, this classic scope has remained one of ACOG's most popular since its introduction over 25 years ago. During the daytime the scope features clear black crosshairs. A self-illuminated tritium lamp illuminates the reticle in red at night without batteries.

The TA01 scope is further distinguished by its crystal-clear and distortion-free Broad Band Anti-Reflective Coated Lens, maximum eye-relief, and large exit pupil for ease of use. Constructed of military-grade aluminum alloy, the scope is dry nitrogen filled, and waterproof to 100 feet/30 meters. The scope's metal structure and optical system are backed by a lifetime warranty and the tritium lamp is guaranteed to glow for 15 years. The TA01 Scope comes complete a carry handle screw and washer set for easy mounting. ACOG Scopecoat:
The Scopecoat is constructed of the highest quality neoprene laminated with nylon. Its simple design safeguards the scope or sighting system from dings and scratches, dust, dirt, and moisture. Neoprene has 5 percent greater moisture absorbency, which takes moisture (condensation and sweating) away from the scope or sight and helps protect it from rust and corrosion. The nylon laminate shields the scope against the elements. Simply stretch both ends of the Scopecoat over your ACOG sight for optimum field protection.

Lenspen:
The Lenspen features a safe and easy to use retractable dust removal brush and a special non-liquid cleaning element, designed to never dry out.

Trijicon Rifle Scopes ACOG 4X32 With M16 Base The finest optical design, 100% U.S. made components and Mil-C-14806A multi-layer coated glass elements make the ACOG the ultimate telescopic sight. The black daytime reticle in the ACOG 4x32 glows red at night and in low light due to its tritium composition. Forged aircraft aluminum housings - the same material as the M16 receivers - are precision machined and hard anodized to match the finish of the M16. Unique to the ACOG is its internal adjustment capability - only the prism housing moves - making this the most rugged scope available. The ACOG will withstand exposure to temperature extremes, salt spray, fog, fungus, humidity, sand, dust, shock vibration and a free fall drop onto a hard surface. Aerospace seals make the ACOG waterproof to depths greater than 500 feet. A hole through the M16 integral base permits use of the iron sights without removal of the scope. It can be attached to the carrying handle with one or two screws (2nd screw is optional). The user does not need to make any special adjustments between shots at different ranges. The ranging is already built into the reticle pattern (parallax free along its vertical axis). The width of the horizontal lines corresponds to the height of a 19 inch silhouette at that range. Wow, It took trying a lot of diferrent red dots and flips sights to realize that just wasn't getting it. I waisted a lot of
money learning the hard way. Save up and buy this. The clarity is so amazing that, I still can't believe it, even after a month.
No batteries to buy ever. Just as lite as other optics. remarkable quality. Very easy to zero in. This is not a purchase, its an investment.

Mounted this on a DPMS AR15, it is expensive, more expensive then the riffle it is mounted on, but it makes target acquisition and shooting "pop-up" targets between 50 and 250 yards real fun and deadly accurate, the clarity of the optics allow for shooting with both eyes open, the illumination of the cross hair against a dark background, permits a quick transition from sun to shade.
