This book is pretty funny. If you like Gutfeld's show or other books, you will definitely like this one. It draws mainly from the age-old and deep comic well of how men and women perceive things differently.
According to Gutfeld, in order for women to have a weighted appreciation for anything that a man does, he has to go way out of the way to do something he absolutely hates, is emasculating and not expect anything in return. If he does something that involves other women, he automatically loses points, unless they are horrifically ugly and old or its something like a Jane Austin book club and the women giving the points is there (and also all the other women are ugly and old). He will, in the comic mind of Gutfeld, lose some points at the slightest whimsy of the woman, or lose many points for doing body shots off of college co-eds. It's a good book to page through for some quick laughs. It would be hard to read it cover-to-cover, but Gutfeld's genius is much more in the small observations than in a coherent thesis anyway. There are many things in this that men would probably find funnier, and Gutfeld can be a little obscene at times. I would highly recommend it to bachelors, as a gift to someone who likes Fox News' Red Eye, as a coffee table book or a bathroom reader.

Satirical, yet true. Great buy!,

I bought this book for my "boyfriend/mate/significant other/whatever" (who is always in the doghouse) for Christmas after seeing Gutfeld's interview on "Good Morning America," but can't bring myself to wrap it because I can't put it down! Gutfeld has penned the secret to satirical, but true, recipes for a man to maintain a relationship with a woman. Scenarios are hilarious, yet uncannily familiar. Great gift for anyone who can appreciate humor in a relationship, doghouse-fettered or not.

When I read this book I laughed so hard that I felt severe physical pain. Beyond the humor the book contains much valuable relationships advice. I always enjoy reading Mr. Gutfeld's articles in Mens' Health Magazine, and I am eagerly looking forward to his next book.
