Decent alarm with a few issues,

Purchased this alarm for my 2009 Suzuki DL650. This alarm has a good feature set and is easy to use. Install was a breeze. The remote is supposedly waterproof but I haven not tested that. Range of the remote is good. Alarm is loud.
This alarm however could use some improvements. It is really not sensitive enough. I put groceries in my top bag, attached my tank bag, put my helmet on the seat, got on the bike and put my gloves on while the alarm was armed and this alarm did not go off until I moved the kickstand. The optional perimeter sensor, while adjustable, is either too sensitive or not sensitive enough. The remote needs frequent recharging, too frequent if you ask me. Conclusion: good alarm overall in need of some improvements. |
