Complete and Thorough, February 10, 2006
This review is from: Scorpion Biology and Research (Hardcover)
This book can only be described as a complete and thorough synthesis of scorpion biology. This book is full of beautiful SEM photos and diagrams. It is a must-have for any serious scorpion biologist.

Great resource for scorpion research., November 15, 2008
This review is from: Scorpion Biology and Research (Hardcover)
This book thoroughly covers many diverse aspects of scorpion research. Not only is this book about scorpion information, but it also explores how scorpions are good research subjects for studying other biological topics such as sight and cuticular development.
What this book does not do is present basic information about scorpion physiology and taxonomy. Those topics were covered in "The Biology of Scorpions" by Gary Polis. I found that book to be much more useful, but "Scorpion Biology and Research" was a very informative, if technical, read.
