4.0 out of 5 stars Another rehash of an old release.
This is just a re-release of Cleopatra/Deadline's 2000 'Covered Like A Hurricane' Scorpions Tribute CD. It's a great CD, though. Jake E Lee does some guitar work somewhere on the CD too.

Come on, George. Time for some new material. (Please?)

Sorry J.J.Bartolozzi.....but what do you mean by this guy music??

Anyway...to tell the truth, this is the most dissapointing album from a guitarist that I had admired since the Dokken days...

Sorry J.J.Bartolozzi.....but what do you mean by this guy music??

Anyway...to tell the truth, this is the most dissapointing album from a guitarist that I had admired since the Dokken days...

He had literally murdered all of these nice songs from Scorpions...

The vocals on all tracks are so dreadful and painful to the ears....especially for the vocal on song "Still Loving You' (whoever he is...)

I was expecting some nice clean guitar solos form Lynch..but what came out is a dreaded overly distorted guitar sound..soak in a dreaded overly distorted rhytm guitar...

My friend bought this CD and let me listen to it..after which..he turn it into a coaster a week later......

As for me, I immediately deleted it from my ipod after listening a portion of each tracks...

Total rubbish and very very disappointing.....

If you are a fan of George Lynch, this definitely a must for your collection. I cannot get enough of this guy's music.

This kinda tells you where these guys are at. Can get a record deal with your own music so re-release some unoriginal covers of someone elses hits. Maybe this means George has hit rock bottom (ooo hasn't he covered that too) and will start writing some good stuff.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best album from George since Lynch/Pilson, November 26, 2008
This review is from: Scorpion Tales (MP3 Download)
Nice raw '80's production and not overpolished. Almost sounds analog. Of course I'm sure they have to take the budget into account now. Must buy for the Lynch fan! Lynch does the Scorpions proud all the while adding his flair tastefully to the songs.

1.0 out of 5 stars What a joke!, November 13, 2009

George Lynch plays Scorpions tunes-get real. Maybe he can do Poison songs next. Some moron wrote that this album is good and he "can't get enough of Lynch's music" Yeah, right, if he actually did his own music instead of tired cash-out attempts like this. Oh wait, he does his own music sometimes too, and it sucks. Face it; Lynch was a great guitarist in Dokken, but he has less than nothing to offer on his own, as is evident by travesties like this. Pass on this and buy a box of Fruit Loops. It will be much more satisfying.
