Many useful tips for nose damage survival, December 18, 2011
This review is from: Scorpion: The True Story of a Woman's Victimization by the Medical Industry (Kindle Edition)
I had nose surgery in 1976, since then my life changed and become crippled.
Every breath are pain and irritating. The air going through the nose is always dry, cold, no matter if i am even in sauna. consequently non stop pain, 24/7.
I was entering grade 12 when this surgery was done. I used to be the best, but after the surgery, everything has become a challenge. Even picking up a tel was too much for me to do, as I was not in the mood to talk to anybody.
However I managed the life up to now, with my great supporting wife. Poor wife before getting married(1986)was thinking i have allergy, of course I had told her I do not know the exact definition of the problem.
In those ages, about 1986,when i got married, the ENS, was not known like now. Although not accepted by the ent communities as damages done to the patients even right now, as it causes liabilities to ENT's.
This book is full of useful tips to challenge the crippled nose and thus feel better.
I give this book four stars, as I am perfectionist. I highly recommend this book mainly due to the tips as well as the author is not trying to market some machines or medicines like many people do.

Unfortunately most people are simply unaware of the fact that the medical community is just as susceptible to the form of corruption that can make its way into any other industry or business, the biggest difference here is whereas a crooked business may ruin you financially, a dishonest doctor can ruin your life and your health. Scorpion elucidates how this can and does happen on a regular basis, even today in modern medicine.

The Scorpion by Kris West, December 2, 2011
This review is from: Scorpion: The True Story of a Woman's Victimization by the Medical Industry (Kindle Edition)
This personal account stacks up well with the best of popular medical crime fiction, like Robin Cook.It is even more chilling because it is true."
