my favorite glue October 30, 2006
By L. Pope
I decided to make my own invitations for my wedding which featured a metalic cardstock, hand made paper band, and a linen text block. i tried more glues than I care to admit in search of one that would work for all the paper types without bleeding through, wrinkling my paper, or looking messy. This was the only product that worked. It is easy to apply, dries quickly, looks great, and washes up with soap and water. Since finding it, it is the only glue I use for scrapbooking. Additionally, I have used the glue to reattached stray wallpaper edges and (sorry to admit this) my fake eyelashes for halloween. Yes, that's right, I glued fake eyelashes to my eye lid with this glue. The eyelashes stayed on all night, the glue came off my eyelid and the lashes with ease, and I have had no ill effects. Buy it... love it... then thank me. :-)

This glue is awesome. June 12, 2011

This is my choice glue for paper craft projects. It works well on card stock and plastic straws. It does not make paper wavy when it dries. Depending on how much is used and the surfaces involved, it dries from seconds to minutes. You usually only have a few seconds to manipulate an item before it's locked in place.

Good Glue, Bad Cap June 6, 2010
By Alyson

This glue is great for paper crafting. When used with restraint it dries remarkably quickly, especially on porous paper. The fine tip of the applicator is nice for delicate projects.

However, the clear cap that screws on top does not have any sort of pin to keep the fine tip free of dried glue. The glue frequently dries and clogs the applicator. This would not be such a big deal except the applicator is attached to the bottle not by screwing on, but by fitting in like a cork. Often with an old bottle of Elmer's if you squeeze hard enough you can pass the clot out of the applicator. However if you squeeze this bottle really hard, the cork flies out and you end up with glue all over your work desk, paper, shirt, and even the wall across from where you were standing. True story.

My solution is just to keep a pin from my sewing kit in the nose of the applicator with the clear cap screwed on over top.

(I reclaimed the contents of the bottle from the puddle on the desk and globs on the wall before it dried.)

EDIT: as the commenter above notes, my bottle also is lacking the word "Tacky" from the label. It does have a red and purple label, red applicator, and clear cap. It works well for me so I'm keeping it.
