Combined with the scrub handle, these pads really shorten cleanup for my flattop stove. They allow you to easily put pressure into the tough spots, and wipe away most grime. If there is old cooked on food, it takes A LOT of pressure and determination to lift, but that is not really a fault of the product. It also leaves a white film across the stove when the cleaner dries on, but it is easy to wipe off with just a cloth. Overall, this is a much quicker, easier way to clean a flattop stove than any alternatives I have tried.

Also, keep in mind that this is not just a pack of 8 pads (as I had originally thought). It is actually a pack of 8 PACKS, aka 48 pads total. That should last a while ;) .

I had an electric cooktop in dire need of an effective cleaner. Previously, I would use some combination of windex, barkeeper's friend, bon ami, or comet, yet they were never sufficient, and always left a bit of residue on the surface despite the most vigorous scrubbing.

I saw the ads for the Scotch-Brite Cooktop cleaner, so I was desperate to try something effective. The holder looks like a mini-iron, and it has a velcro-like surface on the bottom which secures the cleaner pad. This pad is amazing- I'm not sure what comprises the cleaning agent, but it wipes away stains, food residues, and burn marks with ease. After wiping the cooktop, just rinse with a sponge, and cleanup with a paper towel. And, you can double the lifetime of your cleaning pads by reversing them and using the other side!

Cleaned my glass top stove very easily and very well. It does not smell of harsh chemicals yet it cleans almost effortlessly. I usually use the typical white liquid cleaning compound that everyone used. It is very hard to use and one really works up a sweat. The cleaner is almost clear and leaved little residue behind. 3M did a nice job on this product. I am surprised that it works so well!
