Combined with the scrub handle, these pads really shorten cleanup for my flattop stove. They allow you to easily put pressure into the tough spots, and wipe away most grime. If there is old cooked on food, it takes A LOT of pressure and determination to lift, but that is not really a fault of the product. It also leaves a white film across the stove when the cleaner dries on, but it is easy to wipe off with just a cloth. Overall, this is a much quicker, easier way to clean a flattop stove than any alternatives I have tried.

Also, keep in mind that this is not just a pack of 8 pads (as I had originally thought). It is actually a pack of 8 PACKS, aka 48 pads total. That should last a while ;) .

I had an electric cooktop in dire need of an effective cleaner. Previously, I would use some combination of windex, barkeeper's friend, bon ami, or comet, yet they were never sufficient, and always left a bit of residue on the surface despite the most vigorous scrubbing.

I saw the ads for the Scotch-Brite Cooktop cleaner, so I was desperate to try something effective. The holder looks like a mini-iron, and it has a velcro-like surface on the bottom which secures the cleaner pad. This pad is amazing- I'm not sure what comprises the cleaning agent, but it wipes away stains, food residues, and burn marks with ease. After wiping the cooktop, just rinse with a sponge, and cleanup with a paper towel. And, you can double the lifetime of your cleaning pads by reversing them and using the other side!

Cleaned my glass top stove very easily and very well. It does not smell of harsh chemicals yet it cleans almost effortlessly. I usually use the typical white liquid cleaning compound that everyone used. It is very hard to use and one really works up a sweat. The cleaner is almost clear and leaved little residue behind. 3M did a nice job on this product. I am surprised that it works so well!

The product is great. Works every time!! But buying from the seller, I got had. They were being sold as 8 packages, and only sent one, then told me they had no more, but were still selling them on Amazon. If they had send all of them I would have paid approximately $4.50 with shipping for each, but because they said they only had the one, I ended up paying over $7.00 for the one pack. Buyer beware.

This is a disappointment. I know it used to work better because I used to buy it in the grocery store. Maybe they changed the formula or something. I really need a good cleaner for my white glass cook stove. Help!

Scotchbrite stovetop cleaner works better than any other scrubbing product I've tried. Works better than Goo-Gone in this case. I withheld one star because I have no idea what this stuff does to the environment...but it works!

Scotch Brite is the only product I've used that keeps my glass top stove clean and with a shine - since it has come

out it is very difficult to find in stores - very pleased to find it on Amazon.

Have three close members of family living in the same development all with electric stoves with ceramic tops. Sta tuned.

You're buying refills, so you've already got the kit, and you probably know - it's works miracles on cooked on crap on your ceramic cooktop - but it's not magic. You really have to scrub at the old stains to get them off.

Newer stains come off easily, though. It's just the old cooked on residue that you have to really work at.

I don't write a lot of reviews at all, and rarely write a bad review, but this stuff is just that bad!!! I almost question anyone writing a positive review. You can literally get as good of a cleaning with a wet rag and some dish soap, maybe even better! This stuff is streaky, doesn't remove anything more then fresh splatter, and costs about .50 cents per cleaning PLUS it adds more waste to landfills. It truly is a marketing scam.

But go ahead and buy it, maybe you'll hate wasting your money just as much as I did and write a nice review of this garbage.
