While it holds photos on paper pages in an album, it doesn't stick to walls! So if you want to put some posters on your wall this is not the right product for you - use heavy duty tape or poster/picture strips instead .
It is chiefly used to apply paper on paper as in making greeting cards and it also works great to wrap a beautiful package.
Don't give things a bad review if you don't know how to use them properly. I've been using Scotch double-stick tape for over 15 years and I love it!
Here is a link that offers some ideas and directions for use: [...]
My problem with the product pertained mainly to the first use. The cardboard backing that is attached to the tape roll makes it very difficult to rotate the roll, but I found removing the backing to be near-impossible, as little bits stuck to the roll. Getting the tape started was also a challenge, as you are required to unwind several layers--and thus waste quite a bit of the product--before getting to the double-sided portion. This just seemed like an unnecessary frustration before I even had the opportunity to try the product.
So, overall, although the packaging could be made more user-friendly, the adhesive itself works well, and I would recommend it.
I also use it when matting and framing prints. And these I want to stay stuck together for a very long time. Glue would be out of the question because of the moisture on the print would stretch the paper. I use a long strip of tape along the upper edge of the print on a foam core board, and then also along the 4 sides of the mat. Quick and easy, and the matting is done!
I don't do scrap booking, but can't imagine trying it without this tape. If you're going to do it, do it right...don't settle for putting your work together with the cheaper dollar store variety. This is the one!
I use a 3 mm Dunlop big stubby pick but the darn thing is so slippery every time I try and go fast the pick either rotates or flies out of my hand.
I tried sanding the pick and that didn't work either.
I tried gripping the pick harder but I already have carpal tunnel in my right hand from working at a computer all day so that proved to be excruciating.
They sell grip picks but I don't care for those either.
Sometimes I play with the pointy side, sometimes with the rounded side and you really can't do that with grippy picks.
I figured I'd try this double sided tape wrapped around the edge of the pick and even if it didn't work I figured I'd only be out a few bucks.
But it DID work.
Super sticky, the pick didn't budge once while playing Metallica's Am I Evil, not even during the fast part in the middle.
I can go much faster than before with zero hand pain.
Perfect for what I needed it for.

Doesn't really stick properly. Everything I stuck to the wall came falling. It could not handle mere paper material.Published 1 day ago by supreetha
Just what it says. It's scotch tape with the stickum on both sides.
Handy for light mounting tasks (e.g. paper to paper)
It's double-sided tape. It's gooey on both sides, as it should be. It's tape. It's on a roll. What am I supposed to say here?Published 3 days ago by Lillian A. Anderson

Works fine for paper or anything light. I was trying to use it to put Led strip lighting in my car and it isn't strong enough for that.Published 10 days ago by Peter G. Hamilton
