When it stays on the handle it works, but it's constantly popping off the nubs on the handle. Very frustrating to use.

I never imagined when I was a little boy that I'd be reviewing a lint roller on Amazon, but here we are. This is a bad lint roller. "How is that possible," you ask. Well, it's sticky, yes, which is absolutely the first job of a lint roller. So one star is awarded for the fact that it is sticky, and it rolls.

Beyond that it fails in all the other ways you could imagine possibly failing at, if what you did was design lint rollers for a living. For example: the bar that holds the roll of sticky paper is held in by, well, nothing. There is nothing on the handle that keeps the bar in place. So, it just falls out. Over and over. As you're rolling over your dog's bed, your couch, your grandfather's old chair you've been meaning to have recovered. Over and over and over again. On the plus side, this makes it easy to remove an empty roll, which you'll have to do soon, because the roll it comes with isn't very big. So, I guess I'll give it one more star for that.

The other important part of your job as a lint roller designer: making sure the sheets of sticky paper are well-perforated, so they tear apart easily. As you can probably guess by now, this lint roller fails on this point as well. The perforations are inadequate, so the sheets tend to just tear right in half, or in scraps, rather than pulling apart in clean sheets. Like every other lint roller on the planet.

Scotch is the brand name for things that are sticky, and that's the one thing they've done well here. But for every other reason, buy any other lint roller.

The injection molded "handle" and "spool" pieces are poorly sized so the roll falls out all the time unless you're rolling a completely flat surface like a carpet (as opposed to a couch) The benefit of the size is absolutely outweighed by the fact that it falls apart.

The idea is great so if 3m ever revised the handle design I would recommend but as of now I would stay away.

While the sticky sheets are good, I would wish we could have an even wider roll, as I use it on bedding and carpets where my cats have shed. The problem, though, is that the roll pops out of the holder pretty frequently. I will probably try a different brand next time.

the sheets will not stay on the holder. it does pick up lint and pet hair off furniture, which is why i bought it. however, i constantly have to put the sheets back on the roller only for it to fall off a few seconds later.

Looking for a good roller system ? Go to Walmart and purchase Two 70 sheet rolls about five inches wide, then go to the paint dept. and purchase one fuzzy paint roller that these two sticky lint rolls will slide on firmly "tight", and buy a long handle paint roller, works great on everything including carpets. The complete system will cost less than $15.00 and the 70 sheet refills will cost about $7.00

The sticky part of the roller is great, picks up hair, but that's only when it stay's together. The roll falls off the handle constantly. If you hold it "upside down" (which you better mark or you can never tell) it falls off immediately. Too bad.

I know, the handle design is ideal for carpet cleaning, but the roll keeps coming off!

I've had better experience using lint roller on a carpet instead.
