This Matte Finish "Magic" Tape is so much better than the generic types for most uses. It goes on totally clear on most paper, it is very strong, and the matte finish doesn't easily reflect light so it doesn't draw attention to itself.

The brand name "Scotch" has become a "proprietary eponym" for this type of clear tape, along the same lines as Band-Aid, Kleenex, and Saran wrap for their respective products. This generally happens only when a product is the best of its kind and has become the de-facto standard. This is certainly the case for Scotch Tape.

It may cost a little more, but it generally worth it. Highly Recommended!

Although this tape works wonders in joining things together, seemingly magically, the tape is not magical. I did try to rub it to see if a geenie came out. Nothing. Put some on a carpet and tried to fly of my roof. Nothing. Put some in a top hat, said abra cadabra but only found the tape. No bunny. If you need to join say two peices of paper together, seemlessly and easily so that it looks like "magic" is holding them together, then this is the tape for you. If you want to make an elephant disappear, use something else.

This tape never lets you down! It doesn't show on your packages, it is easy to use and it is very convenient.

This is thin little tape not thick tape. Great company to do business with and I got the item on time.

The tape arrived wrapped in a single cardboard ...seemed excessive packaging but arrived able to work out of the box

Well I guess you can't get to excited over Office Supplies, and be what society considers normal. But all joking aside, it's just a standard roll of Scotch Taped. Performs its job well, it's not like it wrapped the presents for me so it didn't give me that WOW factor.

This is great tape, though take care to read the description over the picture. It is a small roll of thin tape. It is strong, and quite clear.

Great product, and I bought it here with prime shipping for under $2, which saved me a trip to CVS. If it is cheaper here for you, then it is worth it, otherwise just run to the store.

It's hard to perceive exactly how much you're getting based on the picture but my roll is tiny and only 100", not 450" like pictured and described.

Scotch Tape is the best tape out there! Made in to good old USA by 3M this tape is perfect for many occasions. Also the teeth on the end cut the tape nice and easily unlike others where you have to pull really hard for the tape to cut. It's nice and clear on paper so it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb.

Not to mention it's a perfect item to get that over $25 free shipping if you're short just a tad on your other item(s).

what can I say? SCOTCH tape rocks! Don't mess with the cheap stuff to save a few bucks. Quality tape pays off in the long run.
