I usually drink my scotch neat because I don't like ice watering down the drink. A friend suggested the rocks will cool the drink and enhance the flavor of the scotch.

They will not get your drink as cold as ice will, but they will cool the scotch. I can tell a mild difference in the drink temperature and a mild difference in the flavor of the drink. I would buy these again and plan on gifting them.

I like my scotch a little cool and ice was watering down too much by the time I was half way through my drink...this do a great job at keeping cool and not watering it down. It comes with a little bag, so after air drying them, they go back in the freezer for the next one!

Scotch on the rocks is a good concept. For my taste, they don't keep the scotch cold enough. I wouldn't recommend it.

These things are a crock. They don't work. It'll keep your drink cold for about 10 minutes. And I used the whole damn bag. Go buy some Tovolo sphere ice molds, now those are awesome.

My oldest wanted them for Christmas. I was told that they allow one to savor the flavor without diluting the scotch. I have to admit that they really improved the experience. .

I typically drink my Johnny Walker Blue or Chivas Royal Salute neat. However, a friend recommended these stones to me.

There are 9 soapstones with a muslin carrying bag.

Rinse these stones and let them dry. Place them into the freezer (not the door). Wait at least 6 hours. Place 3 in a glass and pour your favorite spirit (bourbon, scotch, whiskey). Wait a few minutes. What this does is cool your drink a few degrees. It is not intended to make the drink ice cold. This is similar in effect as pouring a drink into a chilled glass. This cooling lasts for about 30 minutes.

The stones don't impart any taste to your drink, or dilute it like ice does.

These scotch stones really make having a scotch or whiskey on the rocks really enjoyable. They bring it to a nice sipping temperature. I would highly recommend, especially for the price!

I received these as a gift and the concept is great but they really do not do a good job cooling 2 oz of scotch by themselves. I have found that keeping the glass in the freezer with the Scotch Rocks in it does a better job. In addition I have placed the bottle of scotch in the freezer as well. Any two of the three options works well.

I love these. They do a great job of keeping your wiskey cold. But do not let yourself get let down. these are not better than ice. they only stay cold for a short time. however they will not water down your wiskey. If you want longer lasting coldness buy a whiskey ball. these are great for what they are.

The idea is great but they really don't make the scotch very cold. I wouldn't have bothered if I had have known.
