Shipment received intact, no cracks, no bends, no damaged ones. Used them for 3 months now-no complaints. I use the colors to categorize my DVDs. Made of soft plastic-it doesn't crack like the hard plastic ones when I toss them around, drop them, or carry them in my bag.

the plastic case is flexible (not brittle like many slim cases). The case is fully closed; no more dust on your disks like many other slim cases.
These two reasons are enough for me to buy again. P.S. The disk holder is not very perfect but I can live with it

Anyone who has transported or stored CDs or DVDs in typical hard "jewel case" CD boxes knows how brittle and fragile typical cases are. Not so with these Scotch Slim CD Shades! If you can get past the "Fisher-Price" colors, these are great cases!
Pros: They are very durable, almost impossible to break. They have rounded corners, can flex (twist) slightly, and will not crack or shatter. Cons: They are slightly hard to open. They will not stand on their edge. The color tint prevents you from easily reading through the cover. Highly recommended! Hey, Scotch: How about making clear ones?

These are compact, colored (if you choose to color code) and work to protect cds on the shelf, drawer or during transport.

Storage irregularities,

When storing CD/DVD's using these cases, the length causes unbalanced look in the storage unit. Since most of the case are slightly longer. In some storage units they sink in too much making it more difficult to retrieve from its slot.
Also, when trying to label the binding you need extra tape to make sure the label stays on. I doubt that I would buy these again.

These are the worst CD case that I have ever seen. Basically they are made of really bad plastic and they are very hard to open. You cannot figure out from which side you would open it so you have to try a from all the sides until it opens. And sometimes you have force it which causes it pop the CD and then it could potentially fall.
