Review
EVERYTHING I wanted to see if the contents lived up to the front cover boast that it included everything you wanted to know and were going to ask anyway. I read it cover to cover and found the content does indeed live up to the front cover s pitch. This is a book worthy of a series. I could envision one for every province. --Fred Hatfield, editor of The Vanguard.
MARVELOUS A marvelously eclectic compendium of Novascotiana historic, contemporary, geographic, economic, meteorological, sociological, anthropological, political, positive, negative, important, trivial and just plain fun, that goes a long way to explaining who we are as Nova Scotians, and why. --Stephen Kimber, author of Sailors,Slackers, and Blind Pigs:Halifax at War
CHOCK-FULL This book is not a textbook. It's not boring or plain. It is 176 pages of attention grabbing and sometimes humourous facts about the province. This is a book about exactly what its title says: everything Nova Scotia. This book would be an excellent reference for a newcomer to the province, or someone who wanted quick basic facts on the province's history. It would be helpful in a Nova Scotian classroom for quick reference for school projects or presentations. --Vicky Fowler, book reviewer, Trident newspaper
