Scott Bateman's cartoons have appeared in nearly 400 newspapers and publications, including The New York Times, USA Today, Newsweek, The Washington Post, The Chicago Sun-Times, The Dallas Morning News, The San Francisco Examiner, El Pais (Spain's largest daily newspaper), Liberal Opinion Week, and Z Magazine.
Bateman's Flash animations have been featured at MTV.com, Wired.com's Animation Express, and Icebox.com, among others. His webfilm "Pierre's Guide To Love" was turned into a TV ad for Gooey.com and aired throughout Europe on MTV Europe. His animation 'The Hair Thing' was used as 'virtual art' in MTV's Real World: New Orleans house.

This book is great fun. Bateman's single panel cartoons are full of sarcasm and wit, regardless of if he's poking fun at the president in the oval or the goth kid at the mall. I love that his characters seem to be able to laugh at themselves, and bring the reader along for the ride.
I highly recommend this book.
