5.0 out of 5 stars Unpretentious, Unfiltered Debut Album!, September 10, 2002

I find this CD exceptional and unpretentious. Overall, I like every track contained therein, but I must admit that tracks 003 and 016 (1630 and We Are Watching the Sky, respectively)always set me in a nostagic mood. The CD is pure and simple, and if listened to in an undistracting environment, subtle nuances and temporic changes can be very rewarding. I highly recommend this CD. Money well-spent!!!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars creating my dream in NYC, September 2, 2002
This review is from: Scott Ferraro (Audio CD)
Not since the playing of Nick Drake have I heard such a transcendence from the norm on the guitar. This music takes me to the sage covered mountains where Earnest Hemingway still wanders. Listen and you will agree.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Mr. Burns excellent, August 29, 2002
This review is from: Scott Ferraro (Audio CD)
It is not enough to say excellent. one must curl up the forefingers of either hand like Mr. Burns(assuming you have two, else make believe) and touch them together before mouthing the words.

If you want to survive a tough day, you must live the day one breath in, one breath out at a time. That is what this album is, except that each breath is particularly melliflous. Track 4 is Indian Raga based and reminds one of Indian women with well toned bodies with Shiva looking on approvingly.

The world is turning round and round and this makes one conscious of the same. If this review is not dealing with the album at a musical level, it is bercause my knowledge of the same is not very technical and i might end up sounding like Julie Andrews.

There is one extended electronic track which starts off and sustains a very very nice beat with melodies all over your ears, and this track made me feel that I could have cleaned my apartment forever. Any unpleasant chore made instantly hummable seems to be a good tagline for this mix of abstract compositions.

Feel what you want to. No loud riffs to intrude on your expression. A definite buy. And also worth recommending to your friends. I plan to, so that I might get invited to social gatherings again
