I bought a pair of these during a trip to Hawaii in 1981. I am still wearing them and they look fine. Unlike other sandals, flip-flops and "slippahs", the center strap never pulled out. They look nice and they last forever.
------ 3/19/2010 Well, not forever. The strap finally broke after I caught the sandal on the side of bench at the gym. Only 19 years of service. No surprise I ordered another pair. 2115|R2W6X0N2F2BAN2;
