good occasional shoe, not long-lasting for everyday, September 30, 2011
These flip-flops are very cute and comfortable (although not great for mile+ walks). they're more dressy than my rubber tevas and sanuks and for that I love them. Unfortunately the leather over the footbed is very thin and wears off easily. Admittedly, I am very hard on my shoes. I bought these at the end of May and spent a summer in India where they often got wet in monsoon rains, but now (the end of September) there are too many worn-through patches to be able to wear them in a professional setting. They would be great, however, for a short vacation. So, although I love the style I wouldn't buy them again... not long-lasting enough for the price. [If you do a lot of walking - so far I've found that Teva Mandalyn Wedges are by far the most comfortable, but something more sophisticated AND comfortable would be nice.]
