I've anticipated this album since Anamanaguchi announced their involvement at Penny Arcade Expo East this past March, and what better first experience than a live performance of the titular track. I was sold. Do yourself a favor and get Scott Pilgrim vs. the World the Game on PSN or XBLA. It does not disappoint!

Now, please excuse me while I listen to "Another Winter" and turn other pedestrians into Canadian currency. The exchange rate here is a KILLER!

Ever since I found out about Anamanaguchi on youtube with their song "Helix Nebula" (check that song out its really awesome!) I have been hooked with they're style of chiptune music. The mix of 8-bit sound and live guitar just make the music so exciting! Now the Scott Pilgrim Game is a MUST weather you own a PS3 or 360 ( I bought it on both since I have both) the soundtrack alone is worth $10 and the game takes you back to what feels like an updated River City Ransom with the side scrolling beat 'em up. The soundtrack is the best game soundtrack since Jet Grind Radio if you ask me! I love this album! BUY IT NOW!!

Really there are no words possible for this soundtrack. I must admit that I'm a HUGE sucker for game music but this one takes the cake. The second that I played the demo for the game I was wondering how to get the soundtrack and here it is! And much cheaper here than on iTunes I might add. Really, if you're into chiptune or any game music at all give it a shot! Rock Club and Bollywood are awesome!

Aside from the game being extraordinary, this music stands on its own. Together with the game, though, this soundtrack lends a genuinely moving, evocative and catchy demeanor to the entire thing, and I will listen to it for years to come.

I've heard many different styles of incorporating 8-bit tunes into modern music. These guys make it work. Well.

These guys know how to make the older game music sound phenomenal!

I love VG music and have ever since the 80's.

great to see this available for DL since its stuck in my head ever since I got the game.

(Another Winter is what did it.)

definitely gonna pick up the other one this artist has out.

Makes me wonder if I've been livin under a rock, I didn't know there was a fan base for this material in the states to release (vg music/rock).

once again, wonderful work Anamanaguchi, and guys, if you like VG music, all hands on deck. This music will carve it's way into your brainstem.

For those not familiar with Anamanaguchi, they are part of a quickly growing movement which combines chip music with rock elements. In other words, they combine their love for classic video games with their love for rock. This made them a perfect match to score "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game." The entire album is strong, from the driving beats of "Another Winter" to the heartfelt "Leave the Past Behind." This album is whole-heartedly recommended for fans of classic games, of the Scott Pilgrim universe, and anyone who enjoys great new music.

Anamanaguchi are by far the best modern chiptune artists, and this soundtrack is as good as any old school classic! If you love the soundtracks of games from the 80s and 90s, buy this album! You won't regret it!
