5.0 out of 5 stars Anamanaguchi and Scott Pilgrim: A Winning Combination! August 24, 2010
Format:MP3 Music
I've anticipated this album since Anamanaguchi announced their involvement at Penny Arcade Expo East this past March, and what better first experience than a live performance of the titular track. I was sold. Do yourself a favor and get Scott Pilgrim vs. the World the Game on PSN or XBLA. It does not disappoint!

Now, please excuse me while I listen to "Another Winter" and turn other pedestrians into Canadian currency. The exchange rate here is a KILLER!

5.0 out of 5 stars BEST.SOUNDTRACK. EVER!!!! August 24, 2010
By Greg
Format:MP3 Music
Ever since I found out about Anamanaguchi on youtube with their song "Helix Nebula" (check that song out its really awesome!) I have been hooked with they're style of chiptune music. The mix of 8-bit sound and live guitar just make the music so exciting! Now the Scott Pilgrim Game is a MUST weather you own a PS3 or 360 ( I bought it on both since I have both) the soundtrack alone is worth $10 and the game takes you back to what feels like an updated River City Ransom with the side scrolling beat 'em up. The soundtrack is the best game soundtrack since Jet Grind Radio if you ask me! I love this album! BUY IT NOW!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Phenomenal.... August 24, 2010
By Will!
Format:MP3 Music|Verified Purchase
Really there are no words possible for this soundtrack. I must admit that I'm a HUGE sucker for game music but this one takes the cake. The second that I played the demo for the game I was wondering how to get the soundtrack and here it is! And much cheaper here than on iTunes I might add. Really, if you're into chiptune or any game music at all give it a shot! Rock Club and Bollywood are awesome!

Aside from the game being extraordinary, this music stands on its own. Together with the game, though, this soundtrack lends a genuinely moving, evocative and catchy demeanor to the entire thing, and I will listen to it for years to come.

I've heard many different styles of incorporating 8-bit tunes into modern music. These guys make it work. Well.

5.0 out of 5 stars As good as the classic games! February 14, 2014
By Andy
Format:MP3 Music|Verified Purchase
Anamanaguchi are by far the best modern chiptune artists, and this soundtrack is as good as any old school classic! If you love the soundtracks of games from the 80s and 90s, buy this album! You won't regret it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great song from a great game! January 17, 2014
Format:MP3 Music|Verified Purchase
The game is a great one alone, but the soundtrack made the game awesome! The 8-bit soundtrack defined the unique feel of the game and is also fun to listen to alone if you're into chiptune/8-bit music. Try walking around the city streets (or Toronto, if you feel daring and adventurous) and listening to this. You'll probably love it and feel on-scene with it!

By Warren
Format:MP3 Music
Love this stuff with its 8-Bit sound and all its just freaking awesome and amazing that bands can make songs and such using 8-Bit sounds from Game Boy's and other electronic devises but non the less its amazing still.

Recommend if your into 8-Bit or Nintendocore Style of Music
