Amazon Verified Purchase
First Amazon is Great. Amazon issued full credit for my purchase on 3/6/2012.
However the supplier; Scotts, provided product with a new sticker showing the sell by date of 1/31/2012, and in Florida 5/31/2011. Under the sticker the sell by date was 7/31//2011 and in Florida 12/2010. The origonal sell by date was covered up with this sticker (had to use a magnifying glass to read). The lot number was the same on the sticker as on the container. The TESTED date was changed from 4/2010 to 10/2010.
The 5 pound container had printing and instructions on all four sides. Everything was ledgible except the sticker that I had to use a magnifying glass to read. My mistake was using the product, preparing the soil and watering before I used the magnifying glass!
Read every word with a magnifying glass before spreading this seed!

This stuff didn't grow really at all. I see no difference in the lawn. Also big box stores seasonally sell this stuff much cheaper.

I bought two 5 lb. tubs, about 60 bucks when I bought it. Planted as instructed. Nothing, not a seed, grew. It's been about a month since I planted the second - about two weeks more for the first. I don't think anything is going to pop up late. I will follow this up after I request a refund.
