This clamps on to the oar lock mount on the boat easily and securely. No complaints, pretty simple. You put your rod holder in there and you can clock it to any direction you want.

I use it with a Cannon rod holder. It is not a perfect fit, but does the job. I'm sure with a Scotty rod holder it fits perfect.

Nice product if you want to add a removable rod holder to your boat, or want the flexibility to swap sides and you don't use your oars.
