I received this game as a christmas gift and I can't stop playing it. Finally a Scrabble game that doesn't mess with the internal workings of my computer and doesn't go black. The only thing I'd wish they'd do with this game is to upgrade the dictionary so that it acknowledges a lot more words as legitimate plays. Hopefully, they'll do this in the near future and then I can buy that one.

No need to say more than this is an excellent electronic version of the classic board game. Just wanted to let folks know that it runs just fine on Vista, and happily, Windows 7 too. Whew!

I enjoy playing this game. It is fun to let the game pick words I haven't heard of and the dictionary is excellent for checking words I think I remember is a word. You might call this a global word game for the new words. I cannot beat the game. It is great for one person to play alone.

The only thing that sucks about this is that you need to have the disk in the drive to use the program. For the price, it's ok. However, I don't blame the seller.

All forms of Scrabble are great as is this one. However, the DVD's response is too rapid to follow along; all of a sudden, it's on the board. This game automatically inserts its hint which may not be my final choice. Instructions are too involved and detailed. Scrabble players don't need all those directions as most people begin playing the game from a boxed version.

I bought this software because I am a self-confessed Scrabble addict. When I can't play a game with someone, this is a great substitute. You can play alone or with someone else. I played on my last airplane flight across the country and the flight time "flew" by. The nice thing about this game is you can play the computer on a number of different levels. If you really get stumped, you can ask for a hint or two which will suggest a play for you. I try not to use this feature, but sometimes it does come in handy. I highly recommend the Scrabble Champion Edition CD.

If you enjoy Scrabble, you'll love this version of it. It's a great way to get you skills up for when you play your friends. It certainly has helped my game! I have seen several computer versions of this game and this is one of the best.

It's been a long time since I have bought a DVD game so I wasn't prepared for the clarity and video quality of Scrabble Champion Edition. Just install it and start playing. Very intuitive and the levels of difficulty are designed for dummies to masters of the board game. Beats TV any day and makes one think harder than most people do all day. Almost or as good as a good book.

I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY MOM (79 Y/O) BECAUSE SHE WAS PLAYING ONLINE AT POGO GAMES. SHE LOVES THIS GAME! THERE IS NO TIMER SO SHE CAN GO AT HER OWN SPEED (ONLINE HAS A TIMER). THE LETTERS ARE VERY BIG AND EASY TO SEE. AND SHE LIKES THE HELP OPTION THAT GIVES HER CLUES TO WORDS SO SHE CAN BEAT THE COMPUTER (EVEN THOUGH I TOLD HER THAT'S CHEATING). I ALSO GOT HER THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE GAME AND SHE LOVES THAT,TOO.

I am 80yrs old. This game is easy to bring up on the computer, hopefully allows my mind to stay active with new words that are used by my opponent. Has different levels of complexity that I can choose from. Don't have to worry about physically picking up the tiles. Score is kept automatically. Has helpful word hints. Many other features that I really love. Overall it is a great game. If you get interuppted it will save it until you get back.
