3.0 out of 5 stars Be warned. This is NOT "classic" Scrabble, November 12, 2010
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars

This game is still "Scrabbleish" but it does not play like traditional Scrabble. When I bought this game, I thought that wouldn't matter. However, while going around the world making words and navigating through diverse game boards is also fun, sometimes you just want to play a "classic" game of Scrabble with classic rules and the traditional game board. This game doesn't have that feature. Also, the game levels here also can be time-intensive with regards to your score. If you're like me, sometimes you just wanna take your time to figure out your words, explore BINGO options, etc. Also, no "hint" feature and no dictionary, which I also enjoyed in the classic Scrabble PC game.

I got this mostly because I love to play Scrabble and I usually can't get anyone else interested... this is played alone anytime you are ready. You just fill in the boards as you travel over the world on a journey of spelling and fun. I really like it.

2.0 out of 5 stars Needs User Dictionary, January 16, 2011
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Scrabble Journey (CD-ROM)
Kind of a fun little game, good way to keep your word-think (data-drugged) brain alive, BUT the built-in dictionary too limited. It has a good stock of weird words, Q-words. Being able to use proper nouns, place names, non-UK-English slang etc. would be worth paying a little additional money. If the publisher would add a Mac accessible User Dictionary I would buy the upgrade. As it is, am getting burned out after just 4 "journeys." Also, what good's a Trophy Room if you're playing solo and cannot log them somehow?
