4.0 out of 5 stars Funny but slightly out of date, April 7, 2002

This review is from: Scrambled feet (French's musical library) (Paperback)
This classic off-broadway musical is great for performance and a fun read. The piece is a satire of the world of the theater including writing, acting, employment and dancing. If you are looking for a piece to perform, this musical is a great way to get the audience (mainly in the New York area or in areas in high appreciation of the arts) to begin rolling in the aisles. However, there are several jokes obviously out of date and sometimes tend to bore down the performance. But, its views on the theater are fairly up to date and will make your audience go home humming tunes and laughing to the several skits inbetween.
