not bad for the price. received item in timely fashion. set provides you every blade you could ever want. would recommend set.

Very nice compact kit. The blades are held in place by magnetic strips. Several handles that allows for better control and a nice sharpening stone.

the handles have cheep plastic chuck, the blades are worse they flex and break easy there is nothing in the set after you throw out the garbage.

I bought this for my son who loves to carve and is very artsy. The handle where the blades fit in comes loose all the time while he is using it, which I find to be dangerous, so now we use them more like exacto knifes. I wish it was stronger:-(

It was worth buying for all of the blades that it comes with but not for the holders. They are very loose and just can't hold. If you're looking for blades, this is for you. If you're looking for blades and a holder, look elsewhere!
Overall, I give it a 3 for the blades..

I did not purchase these blades for wood carving, so I can't review how good they are for its intended purpose. But I can say that they are perfect for scrapbooking, which is what I needed them for! I cut out pictures to paste to my scrapbook, and I needed a sharp enough blade because my previous ones were getting dull and ripping through my photos. These cut across very smooth and with less strain on my fingers cause I only have to go over the pictures once or twice. I like that it comes with such a variety of blades and handles, and a sharpening block! I especially love how the blades cling to the magnetic lining of the case. If you shake the box, the blades will fall out and scatter all over the place inside the case. But I don't find this a problem because I'm usually very careful with it.

The case it comes in is real cheap. The slots for the blades don't hold them in place well. The blades were scattered everywhere when I opened it. One blade had somehow slipped out of the case when it was mailed and was in the bottom of the mailing package, plus the super glue had broken open and was over everything.
The knives are okay, but given the mess (especially the super glue mess) it wasn't worth it.

This is a wonderful hobby knife set. Very reasonably priced. It contains every shape knife blade you could want, and needle tools.
