They have 12x12, A4 horizontal, A4 vertical, 12x12 double pages, A4 double pages and a few card layouts too! The layouts use anything from 1 to 10 photos in a page map and for all the different sized sketches. One of the best things I like about these page maps is they have the size of the photos to use, how easy is that!
There are about 60 page maps (cards) in each book. The first ones don't have a ring or hole but come with a box to store them in and the second comes with holes ready to put onto a ring, a much better idea so you can take them wherever you go, even when shopping for supplies! I put holes in the first lot and added a ring as preferred this to a box... easy to flick through.....
They have only just arrived today and I am still wowing at them as they are the best scrapbooking books I have seen to date! I am not quite a scrapbooker yet (cardmaker wanting to make the transition) and I can see already that these books are going to help turn me into a great scrapbooker!
It starts with traditional layouts and shows a couple examples of the layouts done completely differently so you can see how adaptable they are, how easy they are to customize by changing the shapes a bit, changing the colors and the themes. The next chapter is my favorite, cards! I like cards a lot, but I tend to think in terms of one main image, background, frame. The scrapbook inspired card layouts help me think in terms of layers of elements to create a card that more dynamic, has more going on, without being too busy or too much.
Chapter 3 is over the top layouts, busy exciting scrapbook pages with room for journaling.
Chapter 4, Beyond the page, has a bunch of great ideas and layouts for round pages, for art created to hang in your house including a calendar idea that is just wonderful. Clipboards, clocks and other artistic pieces using your scrapbooking skills to create gifts that take a lot less time than making a full album.
The last chapter, near and dear to my heart, is about digital scrapping. Layouts combined with the credits under the photos telling where the elements come from make it very inspiring for people who would rather have an undo button and the ability to get just the right color element.
At the end of the book are perforated cards that have a hole in the corner so you can put them on a book ring and have mobility with these ideas. You can keep the sketched layouts on hand for a night of scrapping with friends or just on your work table without it taking up much space at all. The cards are glossy, with the sketch on one side and a full color photo of an example layout on the other side.

Part of the item was missing. I'm extremely disappointed. The book was supposed to come with 60+ sketch cards, and only came with 38! Missing more than a third of them! Read morePublished 9 months ago by Amy Thomas

Like most sequels, it pales in comparison to Page Maps 1. The layouts lack the variety and originality of those in the first book.Published on April 10, 2014 by scrap quilter
I really love that the templates are portable and you don't need the entire book. Scrapbooking supplies are heavy enough without taking books, too!!Published on March 31, 2014 by RCrowley
It is just so much easier creating layouts when the hard word of a sketch has been done for you! Every bit as good as book 1.Published on December 3, 2013 by I. Burden
I enjoyed going through this book and getting new ideas for my
scrapbook pages. This was recommended to me by my sister-in-law.
