I've picked this one up at the counter a few times. There are more ads in it than anything and I've yet to find any ideas to scraplift in it. So I advise on Scrapbooks Etc., by Home and Gardens or Creating Keepsakes instead.

This review is from: Scrapbooking & Beyond (Magazine)
I enjoy many different Scrapbook magazines but Scrapbooking & Beyond is a cut above the others. Being absolutely packed with superior layouts from cover to cover makes this magazine worthwhile, but there is so much more substance than other magazines for two reasons: the diversity of style in the layouts and the quality writing. Sometimes I feel like I'm looking at the same styles repeatedly in other magazines without much change in the next issue but never with Scrapbooking & Beyond. Layouts with step-by-step instructions and my favorite section of reader submissions keep me going back to each issue over and over again to really absorb all of the great ideas. Then there are sections where the layouts are subject or issue based, these challenge me to look at Scrapbooking from a new point of view. Almost all of the layouts are presented large enough to read the journaling, which is the heart of the layout and helps me to a better understand the choices each scrapper has made. Great articles featuring amazing designers and artists are inspirational and I love that they present a couple of non-page projects in each issue. Now I am creating art beyond the scrapbook page. I don't know how they pack so much into every issue.

I derive huge inspiration and so many ideas from this magazine that I can hardly wait to get to my supplies and start creating. I believe that is just what a good magazine should do. Scrapbooking & Beyond does it better than any other I read.

4.0 out of 5 stars My Favorite so far...., January 12, 2012
This review is from: Scrapbooking & Beyond (Magazine)
I have subscribed to Creating Keepsakes, Scrapbooks Ect., Scrapbooking and Beyond and I prefer it because the projects/LO ideas are on a variety of subject matter and styles...For example in one issue there will usually be projects/LOs about people (adults, not just children), pets, gardening ect. I also like that the projects seem to be based on originality not just promoting a particular brand of supplies...Variety thats what I like, with the other magazines all the Layouts started to look the same!

I paid for this when I ordered it which is normal procedure.
To date I have not received a single issue. I have heard
nothing about it since I ordered it. I am not happy with this.
I gave it one star just to give it something. I would give it
negative stars if it were possible. This is not good business.
