Disappointing,
This review is from: Scrapbooking with Cricut (Annie's Attic: Paper Crafts) (Paperback)
I thought this book would provide me with new ideas and techniques; it did not. I thought the scrapbook layouts were unintersting and not very creative. It won't be much of a resource for me.

I was very disappointed. Even though Cricut is a new techique for scrapbookers, this book is outdated, presents basic, very poor projects to be done with Cricut. There is nothing new. It seems it was made to be used by children... I wish I could have my money back.

Great for geting Creative Juices Flowing,
This review is from: Scrapbooking with Cricut (Annie's Attic: Paper Crafts) (Paperback)
I bought this for my wife and it's really gotten her creative juices flowing. She routinely flips through it, with notepad in hand scratching out new designs for cards and layouts. She's a beginning crafter and though some of designs are beyond her capability (for now) there are enough designs at variety of skill levels to prevent her from being frustrated. The variety of themes will also give her enough ideas for layouts for all the hundreds of pictures sitting in the shoe box in my office.
This makes a great gift for any beginning crafter or to reignite the creative juices of the craft veteran.

It is ok but more for a beginner to intermediate. I was looking for advanced.

If I had seen it in a store I wouldn't have bought it. I did keep it and I look at it for Ideas all the time so it was worth the money.

Cardmaking with Cricut is such a fabulous, creative book, I could hardly wait for my copy of Scrapbooking with Cricut. The best layout is the one on the cover. Those inside are simple and use the same base multiple times. I was disappointed. However, as I have explored the details more closely, I can see techniques that I will be able to use on my pages. It's just not the book I will go to over and over again for ideas.

If you're new to Cricut and scrapbooking then this is a great buy, however, as an advanced scrapbooker, this book didn't really present any new or "must try" ideas for me. If you want ideas on projects for certain Cricut cartridges AND you're a beginner, then this would be good for you. Otherwise, an internet search will provide just as much information.

Doesn't use many cartridges,

This review is from: Scrapbooking with Cricut (Annie's Attic: Paper Crafts) (Paperback)
This book is pretty limited. There are only a handful of cartridges that they use, so if you don't have those specific cartridges, you're out of luck. I had really hoped that there would be more inventive ideas and a wide variety of cartridges used. This book is okay, but it's definitely not a must have.

This book is great! It offers good ideas for using your CRICUT cartridges to create memorable pages. I liked how it showed using multiple sizes of the cut outs to accent the pages. It was a good guide and got my creativity in gear!
