Maureen Taylor is nationally known as both a genealogist and as a writer for Memory Makers, the best-selling scrapbooking magazine. She is a contributing editor to Family Tree Magazine, and more than 2,000 visitors a month read her online photo identification column on the magazine's Web site. She is the author of Uncovering Your Ancestry Through Family Photographs and Preserving Your Family Photographs. Maureen is a frequent lecturer and has appeared on "The View," MSNBC and DIY: Scrapbooking. She lives in Westwood, Massachusetts.

She has been featured in top media outlets, including The View, Martha Stewart Living, and The Today Show. Maureen is the author of a number of books and magazine articles, as well as a contributing editor at Family Tree Magazine. In 2007, The Wall Street Journal called her "the nation's foremost historical photo detective."

I borrowed this book from a friend and after reading it I wanted to purchase it. It has lots of good tips on how to make a book about your family. One of the best ones I have seen.

The book is a very good publication; however, the picture that was shown with the product was the inside of the front cover and it turned out that I already owned the book. I had assumed the picture shown was the cover. Oh well, next time I'll pay more attention.
