4.0 out of 5 stars Innovative ideas!
This magazine has "real" product reviews, you don't feel as if they are mere advertisements. Understandable how-to's. Many ideas packed into one magazine. The CD that comes with each issue has fonts, how to videos, trial software. This new magazine is all that a scrapbooker could wish for!

1.0 out of 5 stars Scrapbooks Etc. = No customer service, no magazine.
I purchased a subscription during a sale around Christmas time. Despite my card being charged and numerous emails to Scrapbooks Etc. customer (dis)service, they 'haven't gotten it' 3 months later. Think sending them a copy of my order and receipt would help? It did not. Customer service has a lightning fast 1 week later response time through email. Congratulations to...

Congratulations to everyone who manages to receive their subscription, but after all the hassle I've dealt with, I'm done with Scrapbooks Etc.!

I've purchased about 10 magazine subscriptions through amazon and this is the only one to be such a problem.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best General Scrapbooking Magazine, May 26, 2007
This review is from: Scrapbooks Etc. (1-year) (Magazine)
If you can only subscribe to one scrapbooking magazine, this is it. It routinely covers every aspect of scrapping from unexpected tips, neat tricks, unbiased product comparsions, beautiful layouts (multi-picture ones too!) and candid snapshots of the scrapbook community itself. I just love it!

5.0 out of 5 stars This is my favorite scapbook magazine, January 30, 2007
This review is from: Scrapbooks Etc. (1-year) (Magazine)
This is my favorite magazine subscription. I get several different magazines, but this is still my favorite. It always has the newest products showcased inside and it has several different page layouts from one picture to many. I really like the articles and the customer feedback sections. This is a great deal for the money!

I had fun reading the magazine. There is more substance than advertisement. That's what I judge by. It is hard to find a magazine that has a little substance they have so many ads.

I have been getting this magazine for about a year now and have found it enjoyable and useful. It is full of creative, easily-reproducible techniques and layouts. I find myself looking back at it over an over again in between issues. I also like that it includes ideas for scrapbooking as well as mini-albums, cards and other craft projects.

As for the price, I must say that I got a pretty good deal by ordering from an in-magazine card (2 years for $19.95), and I would consider that a bargain. Regular issues are almost $6, so even 1 year at 19.95 is still worth it!

1.0 out of 5 stars Better to order through the magazine itself!, August 7, 2010
This review is from: Scrapbooks Etc. (1-year) (Magazine)
I went to Hasting's and found this magazine to see if they offered a better deal on a subscription. They do. The little cards inside the magazine offer a subscription for $19.97 for TWO years! So I'm sorry, but $15 for only one year seems like a ripoff. I Love Amazon and would much rather order through them, but this is one deal they couldn't beat!

After a while of making scrapbook pages, you sometimes have a mind block and need new idea. The how-to information is great. Love to look through it for new ideas and tools. I don't copy the entire pages, for instance I noticed that one illustrated page had cut along the pattern of the paper and made a cute border. Someone wanted to know what to do with left over letters that didn't spell a word. They made a cute bottom border with them overlapping each other.
