Scruffy, energetic line drawings with gray washes capture the spirit of the writing. A glossary of sailing terms is appended. Green creates a sympathetic character in this independent kitten and an entertaining tale of his misguided attempts to win over the cook. About the Author
Jessica Green has always loved cats, and shares her home with four furry feline friends - Fang, Felis, Tre and Tumnus. She has never had a cat quite like Scratch, but she once had a mad little three-legged cat called Gilbert who used to get into all kinds of strife. Jessica learned a lot about life at sea when she tried sailing with her husband in his yacht. She soon realised that she hated being cold and wet, falling overboard, and being shouted at!
