5.0 out of 5 stars Scream Dracula, Scream, December 13, 2006
This review is from: Scream, Dracula, Scream! (Audio CD)
One of the more underrated punk/rock bands out there. Great Rock'N'Roll with some punk touches here and there. As I think this album is now out of print, it's totally worth the $20.00, heck I'd probably pay more if I didn't already own this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pure Drive, January 9, 2010
This review is from: Scream, Dracula, Scream! (Audio CD)
Geez, is this already 15 years old? RFTC was probably the single best punk rock band of the 90s for my money; nobody else had such a distinctive sound, onstage presence, or just flat out ability to rock. There were no gimmicks, so scene affiliations, just hard driving rock and roll with the unselfconscious addition of a brass section and unique song ideas. This disk is as good as any they made; like a stew of the Dead Boys, Fear, The Buzzcocks, and just everything rocking alternating between first gear and rocket speed with great restless moments leading up to explosions of horns, guitar, and screams.

5.0 out of 5 stars Rock and Roll Lived, March 28, 2008
This review is from: Scream, Dracula, Scream! (Audio CD)
This cd is by far one of the most underrated rock and roll albums of the 90's. Some RFTC albums had filler songs or weaker tracks but not this one. This cd could fall under so many genres: rock, punk, ska, grunge, alternative, garage rock, pop, who cares. All you need to know is that it actually and honestly rocks your butt from beginning to end. When is the last time you heard something that made you want to pump your fist in the air and yell along with the choruses and smile? Honestly, when? This cd actually does it to you. RFTC mixed the horns into the guitar mix in many spots to create a wall of sound that can shake your speakers. And there are tons of catchy hooks and some genuine garage rock swagger to seperate this cd from the rest of the pack. It isn't very often anymore you find a band or cd that really rocks without any posing or "cheese factor." And just about every song is a winner. This cd improves my mood and helps me blow off steam. I swear to Buddha it does. Get it before all the honest rock and roll bands have gone the way of the dodo...
