When Ivan Melchik stumbles across Sebastian Cream's Junk Shop, he is intrigued by an ancient vial of dust. Since it looks so unique, he decides to buy it and takes it home. But he's in for the shock of his life when the vial of dust returns to its original form-a vampire! The vampire claims he's a good vampire who has come back to life to seek revenge on a member of a warring vampire clan. Can Ivan help with this scary and dangerous quest? It's up to the reader to decide!

More About the Author
Tracey West is the author of more than 200 books for children and young adults, including the Pokémon chapter books and the popular Pixie Tricks series. In 2009 her new series, Hiro's Quest, premiered in Scholastic Book Fairs. She lives in New York's Hudson Valley with her husband, three stepkids, and a variety of small animals.
