5.0 out of 5 stars Southern Album for the Year
C-Murder has finally created an album to rival his first release--Life or Death. 3.0 out of 5 stars Needs the old C-Muder
I was excited to purchase C-Murder's new album but after I listened to it I was like what happened. As we all know, C-Murder was incarated for awhile and I thought he was going to come back with a "vengeance". I think this CD really lacked the flare and swagger of Life or Death and it showed with the production. None of the songs were produced by KLC, Craig B, O'Dell,...

C-Murder has finally created an album to rival his first release--Life or Death. Granted, this album is NOT a classic; but it is a significant improvement over his previous releases over the years and the gritty lyrics and production give the album a magical unity sadly missing from Bossalinie or Trapped in Crime. There are good tracks here-"I represent", "My Set", the killer hit "Posted on The Block" and many more to throw in the jeep on a summer day with the stereo blazing. Sadly, the best track--indeed the one that was going to be pushed as a single "One False Move" has been left off the album for mysterious reasons. No matter. This is a return to form and C-Murder demonstrates without a doubt that he is still relevant.

I was excited to purchase C-Murder's new album but after I listened to it I was like what happened. As we all know, C-Murder was incarated for awhile and I thought he was going to come back with a "vengeance". I think this CD really lacked the flare and swagger of Life or Death and it showed with the production. None of the songs were produced by KLC, Craig B, O'Dell, Mo B. Dick, C-Los, or even Kenoe. I have been a No Limit fan since the early 90's and I think that this album had so much potential but was a let down to some of the "TRU" fans out there. Since Master P kind of stepped back from the rap game, it seems like C-Murder and Silkk the Shocker (not featured on the album) does not really not know what to do. I like a couple of the tracks like Be Fresh and Ice Man, but I was very disappointed by the whole aftereffect. Now for the rating; I would give this a 3 out of 5 the reason for room for improvement. Maybe next time C-Murder!!!

10 YEARS AFTER THE FIRST CD - COREY PUTS OUT A STRONG ALBUM.

ONE THING ABOUT C -- HE KNOWS A GOOD BEAT

GOOD RAPPING -- HE SEEMS TO BE THE ONLY ONE FROM TRU STILL PUTTING OUT HITS

C-Murder delivers savage lyrics to real good beats, i can't fault one track. Just sit back & bop your head, you gotta love it! If you don't i can't understand why you're even on this page. TOP RAP ALBUM.

5.0 out of 5 stars T-R-U is back in the game now...studio gangstas gonna fear it, July 3, 2008
This review is from: Screamin 4 Vengeance (Audio CD)
C-Murder is back, better than ever.

Music wise, the CD got hardcore gangsta beats ("Cuttboyz Anthem," "Freeze" etc.) that he can't do nothing but spit that real on there. On the other side there are cuts like "The Streets Keep Calling" (produced by NO's 2 Deep Music) which is a pretty musical track. There's just a lot of music for a lot of different people. A female could listen to it and understand, a gangsta off the block, a working mom could listen to it and really understand the struggles in life. The stuff put out music wise and lyric wise, is something they can relate to too. And if I was able to give extra stars it'd get one for the hookup with BR legend C-Loc on "Down South".

Improved lyrical skills along with the grimey production every Murder fan's already used to merge into one of the best (if not THE best) albums he's ever done. As by now the best by far in '08!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars THE KENWOODS LIKE THIS ONE.............., July 20, 2008
This review is from: Screamin 4 Vengeance (Audio CD)
I JUST COPPED THIS FROM BEST BUY TODAY. THIS CD GOT SOME SERIOUS HEAT THROUGHOUT IT. THE SONG WITH HIM, C-LOC AND SLIM THUG IS MY FAVORITE. C-LOC WENT HARD ON THIS BEAT. THE SONG MO B. DICK PRODUCED WAS JAMMING AND BEYOND EXPECTATIONS TOO. I HAVENT HEARD FROM HIM IN A MINUTE SO IT WAS GOOD TO SEE THAT HE STILL GOT IT. I'M STILL IN THE EARLY STAGES OF IT BUT FROM GOING THROUGH IT I DONT FEEL LIKE I WASTED MY MONEY ALTHOUGH IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IF I WOULD HAVE GRABBED THIS ON THE DAY IT CAME OUT AND PAID LESS FOR IT BUT WHAT THE HELL!!!!!!!!!!!! I'M SATISIFIED AND I WILL BE GETTING THE NEW DVD HE GOT TOO FOR SAKE OF VISUALS.
