Book Description

This new edition of Screampark includes a previously unpublished one-act play intented to be produced at Screampark. Get a first-ever look at the Screampark characters at their most insane in Lamentations of Madness!

"One of the best scary tales I've read in a long time. Written by a master story teller, Mr. Jack Wallen. His characters come alive in a profound way. I pictured every scene he set as if I was watching a movie. Do yourself a favor and pick up a copy, you will not want to put it done until you are done." -- Gloria Bobrowicz

"Anyone who loves a haunted house will appreciate the behind-the-scenes point of view. The story has a good, fast pace and the characters are likable. It's really a good ghost story about spirits out for vengeance and has plenty of gory details for a genre fan like me. There aren't any slow parts or disjointed facts or situations to disrupt the story. It has convinced me to read Jack Wallen's other books, starting with the zombies. Overall, ScreamPark is a really fun read and I would recommend it to anyone who likes a good horror story!" -- HorrorGeekAnna

If you can scream, you're still alive!

Screampark – one of the top haunts in the country, has a past that threatens to rip the fabric of the present apart. Turn of the century serial killer, Vinny “The Vicious” Manchetti, stripped innocent victims of their lives and souls for sport. Now he and some of his victims are back to wage a war on the grounds of Screampark.

A group of misfits and cast aways, lead by nerd-turned hipster Chris Davis, step in to save the park and wind up battling for their own lives.

About the Author

Jack Wallen is the new name in horror. His works span genres and weave evil, conspiracy, and fear into nightmarish worlds. Jack has been given the title "Zombie King" by his readers and fans. He didn't garner that title by dining on the brains of helpless victims. It was only after writing until his fingers and mind were nothing but meat for the beasts that he became a master of the zombie genre. During that haunted hay ride Jack produced works of fiction enjoyable by not just zombie fans, but anyone daring to take a peek into what might possibly become of humanity. Of course, being of the insane writer clan, Jack isn't just happy with the penning of zombie fiction. Oh no, the nightmare does not end there. Like the late, great Freddy Mercury, Jack wants it all -- so, he will continue twisting the horror genre to meet his disturbed mind as well as write his Fringe Killer and Screampark series, and his joyous celebration of all things diverse -- Shero. For his inspiration to begin reading and writing, Jack thanks the ever-incredible Clive Barker for penning in a genre with words of grace and horror.

4.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Setting October 5, 2012
Format:Paperback
I've been to ScreamPark 3 times so I was familiar with the setting and the characters (which I love). I love that Mr. Wallen used a real place and real people to tell a fictional story. Anyone who loves a haunted house will appreciate the behind-the-scenes point of view.
The story has a good, fast pace and the characters are likeable. It's really a good ghost story about spirits out for vengence and has plenty of gory details for a genre fan like me. 5.0 out of 5 stars Scared screaming! September 6, 2012
By HLR
Format:Kindle Edition
I haven't read a great scary thriller since early King. This book scared the pee out of me. The book had me turning on all the lights at night and pulling my feet from dangling over the bed. Jack Wallen rolls out a tale of suspense while unfolding the characters masterfully. A terrific read and highly recommended.
